Elements of a Burial Service
Perpetual Care Cemetery
Doris Miller Cemetery and Memorial Park is a Perpetual Care Cemetery. When you purchase a plot on our campus, a portion of that sale is placed into a designated perpetual care account to support the long-term maintenance and preservation of the cemetery. This helps ensure our grounds will always be cared for
Requires a designated place of interment. Each plot includes a deed of ownership, similar to purchasing property.
All burial plots must be opened (dug) and closed (covered) in accordance with Texas Banking Standards.
To maintain campus uniformity, provide level ground surface, and protect those interred, a minimum 14-guage metal liner is required in all sections, with one designated exception
